Final Fantasy XI News – Beginning the Journey Again
MMORPG.com’s Eric Barnett returns to Vana’diel to see how the game has evolved since he’s been gone and delivers his report.

My friends that still play finally convinced me to come back to the game due to the fact that Square Enix had instituted a “Character Reactivation Service” that could recover my lost characters.
WRUP: All mounts are equal edition
This week’s edition of WRUP takes its name from Basil, who kicked off this week’s discussion of everyone’s favorite mount with some controversy:
Basil Berntsen: I’m not including a pic because all mounts are equal, unless they go faster.
C. Christian Moore: Also Frostheim, WHOA. All mounts are equal? I think not.
BB: Frostheim? Ouch…
Chase Christian: All hunters are the same: their dumb pets pull the boss before everyone is ready, they FD to avoid a repair bill, and when the boss is dead, they roll on any weapon that drops.
Free Realms News – Customer Service: Kids vs. Adults
MMORPG.com’s Carolyn Koh sat down for an interview with Free Realms Customer Service Manager Sharon Morris to discuss the differences between dealing with kids and adults in Free Realms.

Almost done
I wanted to post a quick update for those interested in seeing (or acquiring) an updated version of the UI I’m using. I have been working on getting it ready for upload, and it’s just about there. Getting my Power Auras setup just right was responsible for most of the delay. It took me a awhile to settle upon a configuration I was pleased with, but I’m pretty happy with what I have going now.
The Creation Of Warcraft I And World Of Warcraft – The Greatest Game On The Web
World of Warcraft is one of the most popular computer games nowadays. It was presented in 2004, when the world was celebrating the tenth anniversary of Warcraft I – the first role-playing game in the world. The new game from the creators of Warcraft resembled of the first game of the company, but it was much more powerful, colorful and interesting.

Friday Five: Vacation Five
For the first time in forever (or at least a year) it’s vacation time! Which means missing a few raids in the pursuit of leisure.
But I do have a few things I hope to accomplish in game before the week off is up:
- Get the warlock to 65 and get started on her last big engineering push.
- Actually be online at the same time as Milchel so I can run him through SM (yeah for having an Alliance friend testing the horde waters! WTB more of same!)
- Eek out another level each on the Alliance Mage and Shadow Priest.
- Actually write up and send out the two WoW-related freelance pitches that have been on my mind.
- Get through my screenshot backlog (rename and organize the shots from this year.)
Breakfast Topic: Great big pointy teefs

Since I’ve started doing the Netherwing daily quests, I’ve discovered a secret. Something that is true about myself, but which I had no idea was true.
I want to play a Fel Orc. Because they are freaking insanely monstrous looking.
Warcraft Econ Going for Goldcap Update
I have only about 30k to go, at an estimated 185k according to the BigPicture addon. I never saw the need to hit the gold cap before since I could afford everything I could ever need. However recently I finally decided to go for it as a personal goal and to prepare for Cataclysm and its’ beta. Having 200k+ on the beta should enable us to buy and test out any new goldsinks available in it. Another reason to hit the cap is simply because I run a gold making blog.
